Flight Transportation

How does flight transportation work?

  • We work with you to find a schedule that meets your needs. Flights are confirmed only, never standby travel. A contract is signed, deposit obtained, and you’ll make arrangements to have a veterinarian examine your pet and issue a health certificate within 10 days of travel.
  • On the day of travel, we meet you (or your contact) and your puppy or kitten at the ‘departure’ area of the airport approximately 2 hours prior to flight departure. Photos will be taken and sent to you!
  • Once through security, we will find a family restroom or other quiet area to give your puppy or kitten an opportunity to have a snack and a drink. They will be allowed out of the carrier in a secure, locked area ONLY (we carry a portable contained area if necessary) to utilize potty pads. We never let your pet’s paws touch an un-sanitized surface; we have strict bio-security protocols. We avoid other pets and people.
  • We will take this opportunity to take photos and/or video and send these to you!
  • Once on board the flight, you’ll receive another photo with an updated estimated arrival time.
  • We’ll meet you at the baggage claim area of the pickup airport. We’ll document you meeting your new arrival with video for your memories!
